Xperia U - Cant view tamil fonts in Browser / Gmail app / Facebook - Anywhere in mobile

Hi,

I brought Xperia U last week. Tamil Fonts are not visible in browser / Facebook / even in Gmail app. Im NOT talking about "Language and Keyboard" settings. I have seen tamil fonts supporitng in Samsung Galaxy Ace with Andriod 2.3.7 and thought it is shipped with OS (some kind of regional stuff).

Is there any application should be installed for that?

Thanks.

If this language cannot be found at "Language and keyboard" the phone does not support it. You can try to go to Google Play and do a search on "tamil" and see if you can download any language packs. It will not change the phone menus but it could make it possible to read and write in the language.

all the south indian language are not displayed by this mobile. I was able to read in my previous mobile lg optimus one, but this phone doesn't recognize these fonts. is there any third party software to see these fonts?

LG might have added these languages to their software. We're using Android default languages as far as I know and unfortunately it doesn't include all languages.

There are no complete language packs that will affect the menus. Check in Play if there are anything that can help in terms of writing and reading.
