Xperia U camera Button is not working

The dedicated camera button of the xperia u is not responding.  Tried several times by pressing harder and it is not working.I dont think it is an issue with the software. I can take photos by pressing the camera icon on the screen. Most probably the problem is with the back cover. It is a 2 weeks old phone.What should do? Any suggestion will be great.

Open Camera, Click Settings Key, Swipe to the second page, click Quick Lauch and select Launch and Capture.

the camera button must be pressed hard because its like you must press it twice, first the lighter press is for focus, then the harder press for capture..

i have tried pressing hard several times... it is just as if the timer is not working

Try to repair the software with PCC or SUS and check if it works.

If it doesn't, go to a service center.
