Xperia U auto-rotate problem

Hi. I updated to official 4.0.4 firmware via the sony pc companion.

Now whether the auto-rotate screen box is ticked or not in display settings it will rotate the screen anyway when i tilt the phone to landscape.

What is going on?

Do I have to go back to GB? How do I do that if so?

I would actually just advise running a repair to reload the firmware.

To repair the phone software
1.     Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support
2.     In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start.
3.     Under Phone Software Update, click Start.
4.     Click repair phone.
5.     Follow the on-screen instructions.
