Phone: Xperia TX
Headset: the one that comes with the phone
The Headset that came with the Xperia TX works everything fine for a couple of days. However, after the latest update for the TX, the same headset works fine only in sound-wise, but the answer/hangup button doesn't work at all. Phone reset to factory default in no way help me to solve this problem. Any idea to what was going wrong?
Is it a compatable issue due to the recent update or I have the bad luck to get a bad quality headset that it can only last for 2 weeks

You are correct that both Service menu and the above mentioned app provide some good and easy testing procedure to the Xperia phone as well as to the headset. However, if I am not mistaken, Service menu and the said app both missing a basic test on the answer/hangup button at the headset. Anyway, I took this opportunity to test all the other functions of the phone / headset and all test pass.
