Xperia Transfer doesnt work....

Help needed!

I bought a Z1 two weeks ago and I'm struggling to transfer everything from my Arc S in order to start using my new phone.

I saw the excellent feature in PC Companion where XPeria Transfer is supposed to work for all mobiles on Android 2.1 or later. (my Arc S is on 4.0.4) Started the function and eventually I got the message that my device is not supported?!

I contacted Sony support on mail and got the answer that I need to download the Xperia transfer App on my device as well.

So I did, and everything works smooth until I'm directed to connect my device to the PC Companion.

When sarting the Xperia Transfer in PC Companion, I get the same error message and phone is still in Xperia Tranfer App stating "Device Connected".

Anyone that can give me som help/advice?

What are you trying to transfer?

try this suggestions as you can use them to transfer contacts, and other stuff

Contacts, messages, photos, applist....

Check my link, you will be able to transfer all that, also you don't need that program to transfer your photos, videos, music

on your compuer 

Computer > xperia Arc > SD card > DCMI > 100Andro 

                                                             > Music 

copy paste to your computer then transfer to your new phone
