Xperia Tipo Headset problem

Hey.I have been using Xperia Tipo single sim for 4 months. Two days ago, my headset was not functioning , Only one speaker is working. When I tried with different(samsung) headset, It is not working. But when I tried with some local headset, it is working!!!...Could anyone tell me that where the problem was happened??

Can you please elaborate what you mean with local headset?

Was it a original Sony headset or was it just headphones (no microphone)?

It is not at all functioning with the original Sony headset.Other than the stock headset, which i use for MP3 player is working with tipo.

When i use the Sony headset for other mobile it is functioning.

Whether the problem is with the headset or my mobile..I am totally confused because of this!!!!

So you mean that it's working with the headset that was included in the box?

Which Sony headset does not work well with your phone? Do you know the model number?

You mean mobile model number..if it is then the number is ST2li.

I dono the model number for Sony headset..
