Xperia tipo - contacts not accessible

Hi, my name is Christa and I have just bought a new small Xperia tipo STi phone and have problems accessing or saving contacts. When I create a new contact and save it, it does not show in the contact list. When I type in the according phone number and call the person, the call is logged with the correct name (which I have saved earlier). Nevertheless, the contact list stays empty, the according name is still not shown. It seems that the phone saves the contac ts somewhere else...

Has anybody an idea, where these contacts might be found and how I could get the phone to show them in the contact list?

Hi, go to your contact list, tap MENU>Filter, tap Phone contact and make sure All contacts is ticked.
