Xperia T Wont Charge/Turn On

Had the T for around 4 days on contract with T Mobile.

The phone was working fine, until today when i finished work, found out the phone was dead.

Having had a blackberry before this and i was able charge the phone from my cd player in the car, i did the same with this.

Phone charged, but then suddenly it was on 0% charge, phone died.

Tried powering it back on and all i got was flashing red lights.

I dont know how to reset the phone etc.

Managed on the off chance to get the phone past the start screen, but whenever i swipe the screen, all it says is "Android System".

Help Anyone?

Tried your solution and it worked. I didn't have an elastic band to hand, so I tied piece of string around the phone/power button. After about 20 mins it turned on and now it is charging without the string!

All I was getting if I pressed the power button when it was plugged in was a continuous red light and tried some of the other solutions suggested and they didn't work. But tried this and now its working.

Saved me some hassle of sending it back for repair.

now my LED is just flashing what does this mean?? did this happen to anyone else??

does the LED need to permanently on for this to work? also can i use my laptop to do this as everytime i use the mains my LED just flashes?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!! So I bought this Sony Xperia Miro less than 4 months ago AND IT IS NOT WORKING!!!! It was workin fine for the first 3 months but the last month has been terrible. The last 3 weeks even tho fully charged when I turn it on after 5 seconds it turns off then 5 seconds later turns on by itself and so on. But yesterday I decided to take the battery out and leave it out for the night. Then in the morning it wouldn't start at all. Its been on charge for most of the day n its not charging or turning on!! WHAT SHALL I DO???!!!

For those of you who have not already done so please do try and run a repair:

1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
3. Phone Software Update.
4. Start.
5. Repair Phone
6. Continue
7. Accept data removal
8. Next
9. Wait for prepare
10. Select Phone
11. Follow the connection steps

This was totally the fix!!! I would just like to know why this happened? My batter was at 92%!!!
