xperia T problem

My sony xperia T randomly turned off and woun't  turn on completely, I tried charging it but when I plug it in a red light flickers all the time and nothing happens, when I plug in my usb cable to my laptop, my laptop does not detect my phone

I have tried everything nothing works

please help

Connect your phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2 to 3 hours > try again
