Xperia T photo problems. All the photos I have taken during the last week have either become corrupt or I have the camera on the wrong settings. The said photos wont zoom in, wont be emailed or messaged either. They work right after being taken then after 20 mins or so they become corrupt and the screen is black with like a white broken symbol in the middle.
All my previous photos are working fine so I don't think its the SD card. My videos are working fine as well.
Anyone got any ideas of what it might be?
Try the basic
Settings > apps > all> camera > clear data > restart your phone and check again
if that doesn't work, store your pictures on your internal storage and remove the SD card and test the camera again
:smileyhappy:Thanks it worked!
Anytime
Hello I have also got a very similar problem but there is some difference my photos corrupt as well but they do it instantly when I take few photos most of them will not work, everything was fine when I had a 8gb memory card but recently I got a 32gb memory card on eBay which I think is the problem but I'm not sure if its the phone or the card.
I have done the clear data in setting for camera and it did not help me.
I have also added a screenshot of what does my Photos folder look like.
If you know what's going on any help will be appreciated
Thank You
The files are on the SD Card but the card has not been out of the Device since I got it.
Also last night I went into storage > SD card > photos/videos and used another application to open photos not the Sony one and it viewed like 5 more photos than the Sony photos app but the corrupted files did not appear.
Also the phone started to shut down randomly last night. I tried to use it and it just restarted about 15 times in a row for some reason It turned off > turned back on then nothing happened I went into menu and the message that I need to charge came up (battery 11%) I pressed OK and it restarted again for about 15 times until I plugged it into charge then it was fine.
I would try taking the SD Card out of the phone to see if the problem of rebooting continues, this will allow us to confirm if the SD Card is the source of the problem.

I tried that and it did not affect the rebooting but it has stopped doing that now. What about the Corrupted photos?
Unfortunately this may be due to a corrupt or faulty SD Card. It would be worth looking at trying a secondary SD Card in the phone to see if you continue to get corrupt files.
