Xperia T keeps restarting

Hello,

For a while now, my Xperia T (LT30p) has been restarting 2-3 times a day. It was fine when I first bought it in December, and I believe this started when I updated to Jelly Bean.

I come to use my phone and I find the screen blank and it won't do anything. It also doesn't seem to restart for ages, but I can hold volume+power to get it to turn on. It can also happen after I have just put my phone down on the desk - I pick it back up again and it is dead.

Is anyone else having this problem? I'm very upset because it is making my phone difficult to use. It was fine before, so I believe it was the update?

I have done the usual repair your phone blablabla Slightly_frowning_Face

Can anyone help? What could be it's problem?

Many thanks

Katie

It happens sometimes to me, but no 3 times a day.

When it happened to me, is when I am using the phone... talking or when the walkman is on or the camera... etc

I don't know how can be fixed, I just assume that this phone is a cr*ap and is just another issue that Sony has no idea how to fix (like many others).

So sorry it happens to you too.

Good luck.

First of all you can try start your phone in "safe mode" which means that none of your 3rd party apps will be active in your phone. If the phone doesn't restart in this mode it seems like the restarts can be caused by an or some apps you have installed in your phone.  You can start your phone in safe mode by press and hold the volume down button when you are booting your phone. It will say "safe mode" in the bottom of the screen.

If the problem persists and you have repaired the phone software using PC Companion with no luck I recommend that you send your phone to service for examination. Please contact your local support for more information:
