The Xperia T overheats a lot.

Always around the camera. Nomatter if you're on the net or playing any game or whatever.

Perhaps because this overheat around the camera is the reason of why many SD cards ends corrupted and unuseful. Not sure.

If you don't like this overheat, the T is not your phone.

Sony support team says it's normal. Maybe they will tell you to reinstall all the software (don't do it, it will fix nothing). Maybe Sony support will tell you to stop apps (it may help, but then your smartphone will be not a smartphone).

Up to you to keep the T. Think it well, now you are on time to change it for any other phone from another company.

Read well all this forum and find all the issues that this phone comes with.

The phone would heat up during use, this would be normal. However it shouldn't get to an uncomfortable level. If you feel that you are having issues with the phone then I would advise you have the phone examined to see if there are any issues with your handset. Repair details can be obtained by contacting your local support team directly. You can find contact details here: http://bit.ly/wPKtf6

Well my Xperia T get very hot when using gps or just doing normal things like music, web browsing a little and chatting. I think this is the reason why my Camera ring fell off (see picture)IMG_0054-edit.jpg

My God.

It is just unbelievable to see this...

It is not only cheap the software that this rabble from Sony develop... also the materials are rubbish.

This is what 6 month ago Sony called flagship!!!!

It is just obvious... cheap company, cheap products.

UNREAL!!!!!!!!

Silasje, can I donwload your picture and post it in all the Spanish forums where I usually conect?

So people can read and see HOW CHEAP is Sony and the products that they develop.

Then the Sony support says it is normal if it heats...

It is also normal if it heats to the point of melt the glue/plastic???

COME ON!!!! :smileylaugh::smileylaugh::smileylaugh::smileylaugh:... RUBBISH!!!

@Daloch if you despite the Xperia T or Sony and it seems that you like Samsung why don't you get a Samsung instead? I don't understand why is it that you spend so much time here complaining and praising samsung. the galaxy phones have issues too and this so call heating issue its not an issue, its normal not just with Xperias but other phones, also about the ring camera I have multiple Xperias, I put them through quite a bit of torture and they are just fine w/o any hardware issues

1 - After buying this cr*ap and being a Sony Customer, I have the right to complain about what I think it's an issue. And I will. I will be 1,5 years more tied to my company ONLY because the misleading advertisings from Sony. All a lie.

2 - The Customers support is just ridicilous... so being a Customer, I have the right to complain.

3 - I am happy that you may be rich, so you can buy the phone that you wish, when you wish. I don't.

4 - If I want to talk about Samsung, I will. If I want to talk about Nokia I will. I think this is a free forum where you can talk about what you wish (of course if it involves Sony). At my age, I am sure I can.

5 - Yes, all the phone has issues but that's not the point. The point is the support behind those issues.

6 - If you think that loose a piece of the phone because the heat is normal, congratulations. I think that a flagship that was 600€, 6 months ago, should not have those problems (and yes, I also know that now, the T is not worth 100€), that says a lot by itself.

7 - Til the day this phone will be fixed OR til the day I can spend 600€ buying another phone (from another company, not only Samsun), of course I will write, here and in all the forums I can, explaining how well Son does things.

Thanks for your post, and don't be concerned about my time... it's MY time and I do what I want with it.

Don't forget one thing. I AM A CUSTOMER that paid a lot of money for this cr*ap. I have the same right to write here than anyother.

Is there any problem about that?

you have one thing right, you are free to write/post here, as long as you follow the forum rules, you got one thing wrong, complaining here is not going to do any good, why? because this forum is for US, USERS, to help each other, if you want to complain and for it to mean something contact Sony directly.

btw keep the personal attacks to other forums, that is not tolerated here.

I don't want to be an annoying costumer. But i think after having to see my backplate coating peeling off and this happens i slightly start to wonder whats wrong with my phone. I had a Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo and that didnt break (i did break the usb port my fault) and this is a flagship which had hardware defects twice. Not to mention the software which sometimes can be a real pain using (keyboard lag when typing randomly). I just like to see problems fixed Winking_Face

I contacted Sony in 4 times, and guess what... ZERO answers. This is how well Sony Support goes... First mail I send was not even one month after I got this phone.

Can you tell me WHEN and WHERE I attacked another user in this forum????

What I "attacked" (is your word, not mine) was the way that Sony does things. And as I said before, being a customer I have all the right of the world to say what I think.

Again, Thank you very very much for your words
