Xperia T crashed when updating

My partners Xperia T crashed this morning while updating. It switched off and won't switch back on again now. It's not even charging with any of the chargers we have in the house. How can I fix it?

Try to hold down the on/off button and the volume-down button at the same time until you feel a vibration.

Charge the phone for a few hours and then try to boot up the phone when it is still in the charger.

If you have tried those things and it does not getting any better you should try to repair the phone software:

Click on this link to get Sony PC companion:

http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

Start PC companion, start "Support Zone", start "Update phone software" and click on "Repair".

Follow the on-screen instructions.

Let me know if you are still having this issue after the repair of the phone software.

It's stuck in a boot loop. I tried Sus and also the pc companion and neither work.  They won't pick up the phone.

1.     Start PC companion

2.     In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start.

3.     Under Phone Software Update, click Start.

4.     Click repair phone.

5.     Follow the on-screen instructions.

Then later you will see in the instruction that you have to connect the phone (phone must be off and do not start the phone)

Does it take a while to recognise the phone? I left it about 10 minutes and nothing.

It will only take 30-60 seconds max (during holding down volume-down-key and connect the cabel to phone)

Try again, if problem still persists you can try another USB-port on PC, another USB-cable, reinstall PC companion or try on another computer.
