Does anyone else see this issue? When the phone is idle and the power button is pressed to illuminate the screen, the old time (presumably the time the phone was actually last used) is displayed for a short time.
Cheers
Yes, it does show the old time for a fraction of the second.
indeed and the same thing happen if you have a clock widget, its not a huge issue but it'll be nice if this little details are polished
Thanks guys.
So Sony is this something you aware of and are you going to be addressing the issue/bug
Kind regards

John: Thank you for providing me with this information, Please could you confirm which model of phone you have and which network it is on?
steve : xt on 3
steve : When the phone is idle and the power button is pressed to illuminate the screen, the old time (presumably the time the phone was actually last used) is displayed for a short time.
steve : are you aware of this issue/bug?
steve : and if so when will it be resolved?
steve : john
John: It is normal for the phone to connect to the time once you press the power key to view the time.
steve : and show the old out of date time!
steve : is this normal?
John: Yes this is normal as it is resetting to update from been in standby.
steve : other phones on android do not have this issue, so I would think this is a bug and therefore could be corrected
steve : would you agree?
John: This is not a bug, it will take a brief moment to update the time from standby.
steve : Only on Sony devices?
John: I do not know about other brands devices, can only comment on Sony devices
steve : Ok
steve : so Sony will not be resolving this, as you do not see it as an issue/bug?
John: Yes, as far as we are aware this is working as intended.
steve : I see
steve : thanks for your help. Goodbye
dude they were not able to fix that retarded walkamn bug in .492 and you want them to fix this issue? hehe
yes all sony devices have this bug (had it on xperia U also) but the only two developers sony has are focusing on xperia Z
In my opinion, if you don’t ask you don’t get. At the end of the day, if Sony don’t value their customers feedback, Sony will by the one's to suffer. This is a huge reputational risk for any company to take and very bad business sense.
you will see that this is sony. nobody there gives a fk. when they release a new device, they dont care about the old ones.
if you don’t ask you don’t get it's viable to other companies, not here.
I can pass this on as feedback.
