Have tried the standard support answer of Factory Reset, and PC Companion "Repair my phone".
Phone still shuts down. Everything ok if i don't use heavy 3G access, or wifi.
However, if i start up with data traffic enabled & try to unlock phone while on the go. Most likely will cause a power off.
Phone still within warranty period. As the model T was only released late quarter last year, I purchased (obtained) mine in December.
Surely this is an in-warranty repair/replace? If this is a common issue, is there a recall/firmware fix for this?
Chris Hewitt.
get a brand new SIM card and check if the same problem persists, don't borrow a SIM card but get a brand new MICRO sim card. see if that helps, if it doesn't take it to a Sony repair center
