"That is odd and cerainly not common. With this being the case it would certainly be worth trying a software repair:

One reciept for anything what happen! My bicicle tires got flat. I will definetley try

Why not admit. Xperia SP is a nice demo phone. You can use it for calls, but it is not a smartphone. It is not getting updates anymore. It doesn't support Viber, it doesn't support wifi with bluetooth.

After last updates from google hangouts seems working, Viber still not. I gave up on bluetooth a while ago after its small issues, retried now and it is not usable. Still keeping SP for whatching youtube (WITHOUT bluetooth).

By the way my xperia Z Ultra perform much better. My mothers Z1 no issues. I still thinking to get z1 compact, but afraid of any updates that can happen.

Hi everyone,

I've the same issue with Wifi (2.4GHz network) disconnecting when starting up Bluetooth (2.4GHz).

Perhaps, it could be due to some kind of interference.

Do you access to a Wifi 5GHz network?  If so, could you please check whether it would be a good workaround?

Installed cyanogenmod custom rom. I can watch youtube now with my bluetooth headset. And Viber works.

I was thinking before it was hardware cheapset issue. But seems to be it is incompatibity of the phone with its own native firmware? I will try clean install of the native firmware later if there will be stable update. Very happy to have my phone back.

@AndresM: which cyanogenmod did you install? I tried with CM11 (android 4.4.4) and the problem stayed...however it fixed connection problem that I had with my BT headset during a call. but it still drops WIFI as soon as I connect my BT headset.

btw...i sent my phone to the service for THIRD time and they didn't detect any problem, then I contact local sony support and they they say to use PC companion to repair the software or send it to service, they can't do anything untill service confirm this mistake and even then downgrade to android 4.1 is not possible. now I have rooted phone, with unlocked bootloader with CM11 and at least my battery last almost 50% longer.

XDA don't know how to fix this issue, but at least they belive me I have it...sony? try to repair with PC Companion or send it to local service...so the phone can come back with all data erased ever 2 days...if a customer wants older software version because new doesn't work...give it to him or at least listen to him how to reproduce bug....

did anyone get a resloution with this? i flashed a custom rom last week, [ROM][XSP][CM12.1] StryFlex LP v3.1 | Official Sony Lollipop UI [Updated 04-10-2015], however this was without success on fixing the bluetooth and wifi issue. I am using garmin connect which syncs to garmin servers via wifi whilst **bleep** the data from the vivosmart via bluetooth. very frustrating. WIFI just DIES! on hte stock ROM an "associtaion rejected" message would appear. on the custom rom, it just doesnt do anything!

its begining to sound more and more like hardare to me, since no firwmare has managed to reslove this!
