Hello:
I bought the phone 1 month ago and now I have a big problem. Any video I record that has bass sounds (like a rock concert) sounds really really bad. Cant hear anything!!! Theres a lot of noise!!!
Can you help me please?
Thanks
In reply to Sam, Sony Staff member, you are talking complete rubbish in an earlier post when you said the xperia SP Mic was working perfectly as intended. I was at a concert on Friday with my wife, she recorded video with an xperia S, me with my xperia SP, the sound from the S was superb, the SP was utter rubbish just sounded like the video was recorded in a howling widnstorm not even like music. Don't buy the SP if you want to record video it is a waste of space
So if you are going to release kit kat update make sure that you will fix this problem, its annoying i cant film anything
:@ ! ! !!!
I think the reasoning the Sony staff pointed out is rubbish.
I recently recorded my brother singing in the karaoke and everytime he reaches a high note, a BOOM type of beat makes a feedback in my audio. I was a good 5 meters away from him. We weren't in an enclosed area since we were just at home in our living room, so I don't think it's the same high level of sound as when you are recording in a concert.
If you claim that this distortion is the norm for this phone since we are recording on a "not normal level" of sound, do you mean to say that we bought this phone for the purpose of recording videos of limited usage? (Like, what, recording meowing cats?! -_-)
Oh Dear...Yes I have fallen foul of chep microphone too. Went to Beach Boys concert last night and filmed a couple of clips on my Samsung and then switched to Xperia SP. Even though I know video quality is not as good as Samsung I had more memory available.on Xperia. Horrified to hear the sound quality - Samsung was lovely and sharp, Sony was almost unrecognisable as music let alone any specfic song. In this day and age it is unacceptable for any technology company to build in such inferior quality knowing how people are likely to use it. It's like building a car with no headlights and then claiming that it works fine during daylight hours. I do read reviews and this phone should have a very big warning around the recording quality. Unfortunately a night of memories trashed by Sony and one very dissapointed customer.
I now have to carry 2 phones when going to events that willmhave louder than normal sounds...Hillarious that 3 year old phones record better sound than a BRAND NEW XPERIA Z2!!
