yeah dats not tru coz the notification icon of new software update is cant be seen on the above notification bar in the provided image. and also sony hasnt announced yet dat it has started rolling da .205 update!! well, shame for sony!! 'earlier june' is also ending nd still no signs of the .205 update!!!!!

It's just coz Sony dosent wanna provide 4.4 that's why it's just throwing tiny updates which won't work out.. We need a clean tested OS.

I just cryogen modded my sony xperia and it's working pretty awesome! I went to xda developers and used the existenz ultra 3.3.0 mod which utilizes .201update! The Xperia can be heavily modded as can alot of smartphones that run on Android. It opens up your smartphone to endless possibilities and you can shape your smartphone to your desire. On the end it made my phone an awesome phone! Don't be afraid to push your phone.

If I were a sony exec I would incorporate several versions of a specific update as a modded variety. That would spice things up a make sony unique to stand out and be versatile!

This phone has gone from a capable piece of kit to an utter pile of something else following the last updates.

If 205 doesnt fix EVERYTHING that is wrong - laaaag, crashes, unresponsive screen, reboots, etc. I will be taking it back to my provider for an exchange (It's 6 months old) and if they refuse I will cryogen it.  I have modded a prevoius Android phone and it worked very very well...

Sony really should be ashamed that they have managed to release such poor software.

Loved my SP for about two weeks when it was new. Trusted that Sony knew best with the update ... BIG MISTAKE! Completely unresponsive screen, freezing, lagging, shutting down ... God help me if I needed to make an emergency call! Stuck in a contract for two years ... thanks a lot Sony. All they said was that there will be a fix, but they don't know when. What a cheek ... I'm paying good money for this piece of junk! Never again will I be buying any Sony product!

If you want good service, go buy Sams*ng. But as we all know, you will have to pay extra charge for that. And you won't get periodic update.

Sony is kind enough to provide periodic update. Bugs will be always there. At least .201 is way much better than .266. And hopefully .205 will be the same.

Can't wait for the next update? go to xda-developer. There're plenty of bug fix mod there. Please be smarter than your smartphone.
