xperia sp not respons

My xperia sp not respons after clear cache. I clear cache google chrome and my device not respond, i must hard reset every clear cache app (chrome, games, n not important app). I need help..

Could you elaborate? How does the phone not response? Is the touch function not responding? Is it some apps that wont open? What happens when you try to open an app?

Hello guys,

After the latest update the phone has become very fast and smooth, as it was with 4.1.2. However a bug still occurs (it started with the first 4.3 update) some times. When I go to settings and clear cache or ram management my phone starts lagging out of nowhere. The weird thing is that it doesn't freeze, it works and I can scroll and move around the menu or whatever. However, nothing actually works, for example I try to open viber but it doesn't show messages etc. I have to hard reset my phone as I can't even turn it off pressing the power button. It's getting really frustrating. I installed the latest software with clean install using SUS and performed factory resets before and after updating.

I forgot to add that when the phone lags at that point, when I press the power button the screen goes black and the you have to wait for 5-10 minutes for it to restart!

When clear cache app, my xperia sp not respons just show black screen. hard reset at back cover to restart phone n using again.

oh dear, I had this problem too many times with mine, in the end, after 3 attemps for their repair factory to remedy at Virgin they are letting me go through insurance for a replacement phone. I will not be replacing with another same one, it just had too many issues with faults, and this was the one it always threw up first.  I do hope its a one off with yours though.

That sounds strange. Do you use an app to clear cache? It's not recommended to use an app/task killer for this since it can make the phone slow or that the phone hangs. By going to Settings > Apps > Chrome > Clear cache, should not affect the device. But in some cases you might need to make a restart of the device after you clear data for some apps.

I have the same problem but the fact is that it didn't do that back in 4.1

I clear cache using 3rd app, or in app (chrome>clear history), or clear cache with setting > app > clear cache, i get the same problem my phone not respond and freeze 15m-20m. I just hard reset to using my phone again
