XPERIA SP: Google Maps Problem.

Ive recently bought a xperia SP! after the update.. its has become sluggish.. i knew this fact! but yeah can deal with this lag but not with the apps shutting down automatically. Google maps wont even open! as soon as i press it to open, it forces shut down! it just displays Google map does not responding! I dont want to revert back and i dont want to root my phone! if there is an actual solution Pls help me! Even whatsapp does not respond properly! Help pls!

I suggest you 2 ways..first go to settings-apps-all-google maps-clear data- force stop..then restart your phone..chexk if this solves the problem..otherwise uninstall it and install it again..keep us updated...

I did! Restarted Twice! Even Disabled it! nothing happened! Thn I uninstalled the update of Google Maps, Previous old version is running but thn its also closing sometimes! and many problems are there regarding Many Apps, Album, It take long time to delete a single picture! I am not even a hard core android user.. most of the time my ram is 200+mb's free..
Still it restarted twice! and takes alot of time in typing also!! WIll 4.4 update solve this issue or will make it worse?

There is a new update certified for Sp..lets hope it fixes the bugs of the phone...have you tried to boot your phone in safe mode to see if any third party app acts?
