Can someone tell me how to set a reminder of a calender evnt as an alarm sort of ring which keeps going on and on for a long tme and not as a message notification pop up which just goes once. also how do i get the notification light for a calander event pop up

Its not possible with the default calendar application in Xperia SP. You can go for some thirdparty application on google play or you can set a reminnder on phone itself.

I meant the alarm clock. Or you can download some third party application. Anydo is a good option.
