Xperia SP Bluetooth compatibility ...

Good morning,

I like to know if my mobile is compatable with new standard Bluettoh Smart Ready.

I like to purchase an chest belt for heart rate measurements:

But Im not sure if it will work on my mobile.

Android 4.1 and 4.2 does unfortunately not support Bluetooth Smart by default so Xperia SP does currently not support Bluetooth Smart.

I think Bluetooth Smart is supported in Android 4.3 but i don't know if it will be supported by Xperia SP when it's updated to 4.3 as there may be other requirements as well.
