led notifications stopped working after update which is quite disappointing

Yeah. Noticed that too... I don't know if it's a bug or what, but BEFORE the update, my Xperia SP led notification light works even if the STAMINA is ON. When notification is on, the THREE lights activate and starts fading in and out.

But now, AFTER the update, it doesn't work with STAMINA mode. Only works when STAMINA is OFF. Also, when notification is on, only ONE light (middle) glows, and blinks (light off, light on) instead of fades.

Upon checking, STAMINA mode is supposed to work that way, but I don't know how my led notification works before and the way it blinks is different now.

I think the illumination bar not lighted in stamina mode after upgrade is untrue. Even before the upgrade the illumination bar is not working in stamina mode. Could someone else further verify this?

I think some users experienced that. I for one, can confirm that notification lights worked in stamina mode before the update. But I also know that stamina mode SHOULD prevent it. That's why I want to know how to exclude the led light from stamina. It's a very useful feature for me, since I dont have to unlock the phone just to check for messages. Slightly_smiling_Face

I think I have found some annoying bug about led illumination.

Before the update, when screen is off, if any notification occurs (unread SMS, facebook notifications, WhatsApp notifications etc.) led illumination was blinking continuously with 4-5 seconds interval. Unfortunately after the update, it only blinks once at the notification occuring time, no continuous blinking. It seems led notification feature ruined. By the way STAMINA and other power saving modes are all off.

Also I faced another issue again with led illumination. As some of you might already know, sony has a service test menu accessed by dialing *#*#7378423#*#* and there under service tests menu, there is a test called LED/Illumination. Before the upgrade, when I run this test, led illumination bar was blinking synchronously with display backlight. But after the upgrade this test does no effect on led illumination. I mean leds doesn't blink any more while running test.

As far as I test the new firmware, I will post my experiences.

By the way, it seems touchscreen lag has been resolved.
