Xperia Sp 4.3 Update & Light Effects Problem.

Hi,

I'm using Xperia SP from long & i like it. After getting the Android 4.3 update from "SONY PC COMPANION", i can't wait to update that once.

After update the android i found that the "NOTIFICATION light effects" remain ON while talking or phone calls. Previously this light effects dimed after 2/3 secinds during phone calls. Now light doesn't turn off. This is totally irritating & feel embarrassed while the light remain live for long. previously light effects was perfect.

I've talked with other Sp users & they confirmed that they also facing the same problem  Now my concern is when i can get the solution. Moreover; now SP is using a bit more RAM then previous version of android.

Anyone have any idea on this? Need to resolve this light effects problem.:smileysad:

for led bar you can turn off light notifaction setting>display>light effects>turn off notifaction

and go for 3rd party apps like"illumation bar"for having notifaction

and for ram usage did you reset to factory after update?

Yes - that's been broken with the 4.3 update and will stay on during call as long as Light notifications are on.

So far two things:

- COMPLAIN in all possible ways to Sony - Facebook, emails, Twitter. Spam them with this. Hope they will fix it.

- Either turn off Light effects and use another app (in the asnwer above or from the topic in the link) OR press the lock key after call

Since pressing the Lock key turns the notificaiton off during call, I'm inclined to think it may be a bug so that the screen forgets to send Lights Off message on proximity detection.

Please find my issues after 4.3 Update.

1. Old user interface was better.
2. Backup and restore application doesn't support old backups.
3. New Themes are dull.
4. Led remains ON while speaking on a call.
5. Screen Brightness doesn't adept the surrounding light.
6. Need to add new features like "Call Ringer should go on silent mode after flipping the phone on screen" like Samsung and Micromax.
7. New and attractive themes and HD wallpapers should be added in next update.
8. Black color background is required.

Not only that, i just figured that the light effect in 4.3  walkman is over recognize the music volume which cause the music pulse stopped at 50%, sony need to fix that bug, its not cool anymore, the music quality is improved though!

i wish sony bring back recently added playlist too, it gone in the 4.3 update

Anyone noticed this... When u press the power button to turn off screen, it usually shows some 'tv like effect' flashes off. But after update 4.3 it doesn't. Anymore. Just plane simple on off screen without that tv flashing effect. Not cool. I want it back.. Really

I got a new update named 12.1.A.1.201 and now led working with song even in full volume.now it's feel good.
