Xperia Sola fully crashes down on receiving a call while listening music..Crap

Hi Sony,  I have some weird problem with my Xperia SOLA. If I receive a call while listening to music through earphone, phone will only vibrate. Nothing is heard through the earphone. After receiving the call, call timer display will come start after 4-5 seconds. Now, nothing is audible. I removed the earphone, then also loudspeaker both front and back is not working. After disconnecting the call, I played the music, but nothing is audible I received a call without earphone plugged in, loudspeaker totally stopped working Only way to set it right is to restart the phone!!!  Please let me know whether this is a software issue or hardware issue. If hardware issue, guide me to get a replacement. If software, fix it ASAP.  This should be fixed soon.  Please help!!!!  I have once replaced my handset against the problem of touchscreen not working and Call in music problem..but even after the replacement it didn't worked for me.... M totally annoyed...Help Sony Help..!!! Buying such a expense Sony Smartphone is not a casual thing....plzz help..

Even I am facing this issue, and many other customers also facing the same.

This is software issue and hope it would be fixed in the next release.

Looks like SONY has a horrible software development team and Testing team..

How can they sell such a junk brick so expensive.

Sorry to hear about this.

I suggest you try to repair the software using PC Companion to see if this solves any of your problems.

We do plan to roll out a new software for Xperia sola (starting August). I don't know if it will fix all your problems but it could be worth waiting for since August is not far away.

Hi Markus...even I am facing the same. My firmware is 6.0.B.1.564...what a disgrace to call this a phone. I am fed up with the network problem when this problem has surfaced. It is a problem box. Sony is making a mockery out of the customers who have bought this phone with their hard earned money. Even a $20 phone of any local brand will work better than this. I am ashamed to show this phone to my friends. What are software developer's and testers doing there in Sony. Or is Sony making the poor Customers guinea pigs and doing the testing. Atleast it is time Sony showed some self respect eventhough they don't care for the customers.

Sorry for being this rude, but I am helpless as you people are forcing me to do so time and again.

I think the problem is happening when we select ringtone which are present in our external memory card. After I moved my ringtone into the internal memory, it has not happened. Eventhough I only received very few calls while listening to music after that. I checked by making calls to my phone while music is playing, it worked fine. Can anyone confirm this??

Hi Guys,

Even i am facing same problem in xperia sola, from many days. And ive checked that my ringtone file is also not located in the xternal card, as suggested by therualex. I am not sure if this bug is fixed in latest update (6.1.1.b.1.54) for  sola.

I hope Sony pays attention to this prob faced by us.
