Hi,
The main feature of sony xperia sola is the floating touch but full floating touch is provided after ICS update only. I want to remain on Gingerbread and also want floating touch to work with all applications using gingerbread only. Any updates or work arounds for that??
Yes it is possible to activate floating touch throughout all apps in Gingerbread. But for that you need to be rooted. If you are going to root your phone then go here and read the discussion properly.
But personally I would suggest update your phone to ICS if you are going to root your phone eventually.
Without rooting I don't think what you are asking for is possible.
yea I upgraded it to ICS, but the performance got downgraded, the camera slowed down, accessability got downgraded, and many other problems.
and also i tried the other option but for that i couldn't find excluded-input-devices.xml file, and also there is a problem with disabling it...
If yu have used ICS then yu must be knowing that it can be enabled and disabled while yu press the unlock button and then slide to open, yu can decide to use floating touch at that time, so i was looking for something like that..
Thanks anyways
