Xperia Sola does not recognize SD card

My new Xperia Sola device was fine before I upgrade it to ICS. now I can't use my SD card with it. when I insert the SD card it says UNFORTUNATELY USB CONNECTIVITY HAS STOPPED, when I click on STORAGE it says UNFORTUNATELY SETTINGS HAS STOPPED, when I tap on XPERIA in settings it says  UNFORTUNATELY USB CONNECTIVITY HAS STOPPED. after removing SD card all these messages disappear. what should I do?

repair your phone with either PCC or SUS

I used that SD card with another phone before buying this one..

test your SD card with another phone,  it might be faulty or stopped working, it happens

It is OK now.. thanks for your help.. It was a formatting problem. I formatted it using another phone and now it is working. I formatted it using mt PC that was the problem.. thanks again..
