Xperia SL wifi problem

Hey every body , i have updated my xperia sl to jelly bean few dayz ago , but the wifi isnt working at all ! its not even detecting networks ! i have tried switching off my device , even forcing it to shut down , i have repaired it twice , but the problem still exists ! please anybody help me !! Sony why is that happening !!! ??????????????????

Seems strange. And it doesn't detect any devices at all?

If that's the case you should send the phone in to a service center for repair as there isn't much you can do by yourself to solve this. Contact your local Xperia Support for more information:

I'm facing exactly the sma wifi problem

At first,thanks for this wonderful and amazing update,but there is some essential problems.

I had the same problem since I updated my phone to JB.

Wi Fi works ONLY if I put the phone on airplane mode or when I take off the sim card.

I was facing this problem in ICS when I activate airplane mode and disactivate it,but it was solved easily by turning off the phone and turn it on again; and now It's not working at all.

So it's obviously an update problem and you should fix it , and alot of users were claiming the same problem.

We want another update to fix this problem.

Hi Karimze,

I never faced wifi issue in both ics and jb see the below pics

And detecting network and connecting is very fast for me and the signal never got dropped after connecting to wifi, that too i will use continously from 9AM to 6PM in office, i think you need to take to service center to check it.

Hi Andrew.

I took a look at your profile and I discovered that you are using xperia S,not xperia SL.

So for sure you don't have a problem because it's a different device.

What you said is correct, but only difference is SL is clocked for 1.7Ghz, even you can use XPS firmware for SL

same i even can't connect to wifi in airplan mode .......... i want a solvation to this problem without downgrade my SL to ice cream sandwich plz
