Xperia SL restarts alone

My Xperia SL restarts alone incase i unlock it it restarts

note that wi-fi was working in all 5 times it restarts with me

i need ur support plz...

If the phone is rebooting by itself, please try to run an update/repair:

1. Before you start you have to download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

and install it on your PC.

2. Once installed on your PC, double-click the PC Companion icon on your desktop to start the update.

Note! For some models you will be prompted to do a backup prior to the update and then restore.

3. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

4. Phone Software Update.

5. Start.

6. Repair Phone

7. Continue

8. Accept data removal

9. Next

10. Wait for prepare

11. Select Phone

12. Follow the connection steps

repair or update really solved the problem but i knew which software causes this problem

when i install this software ( viber : free calls & messages ) from google play , it restarts alone about 3 times per day .

is that problem in all over xperia sl mobiles or only my mobile

help me with ur experience plz

I would advise uninstalling the version you have and try to download this application again.

i was wrong for that about viber software and wi-fi .

my mobile restarts again before i install viber and wi-fi wasn't working .

iam sure from one thing that every time my phone restarts after i unlock it and was pattern screen lock i use , this was the common factor in every time i got that problem .

maximum number of times it restarts was 3 times per day and may not never restart .

when i went to technical support center for my warranty they only reset to factory setting and they said that they didn't notice any restart problem after reseting it

i really need ur help if my phone have hardware problem or software

Hi diaa.ragab,

seems we have the same problem, except mine is the xperia s, that suddenly did the same annoying restarts by itself.

i'll try to do the recommendation mentioned here by sony xperia support.

Unfortunately if you have tried an update and it is no longer believed to be the application (which I agree with) I can only advise that you return the phone so that it may be assessed by an authorised repair agent.

Yes Sam.

That would be my last resort.

But on the day i replied to this topic & the new topic i have created about this issue, my phone did not do any restart from then on.

So bringing this phone to the local Sony service center would not be so helpful.

Unless I can show them that the problem is happening.
