Hi all,
I recently bought a Xperia SL white in India, but i m facing over heating issue with this phn:
Temp during charging is 31-32 degree (normal)
but temp goes to 47 degree while playing subway surfer, temple run for 15-20 mins.
also temp goes to 40 degree during surfing using mobile GPRS data (2G).
i bought this one specially for playing games , but now it seems like impossible with this phone.
i go to local service center in Jalandhar, Punjab (India), they said this is normal. but it doesnt seems normal to be bcoz phone gets so hot that unable to hear any call after playing games.
Is this normal issue with all Xperia SL's ?
Does Jelly Bean update help in override this problem ??
I'm also having the same problem
i bought Xperia S in November 2012 and just after 1 week part of the touchpanel of the Phone was not working due to hardware issue and had to replace the screen (repaired with Sony Service Ceter).
Further i have this over heating issue when i play games (even Angry Birds) and more heating when i use GPRS data connection. can't even answer a call.
I think this is a common issue for all Xperia S users.
Will there be any cure for this problem via an Update?
I Too have the same problem. Don't know if now I should be running to the service center.
dont know what to do, some times its realy irritating using this handset.. also screen has yellow glow in the botton, clearly visible during white background..
@Desirockerz that's the yellow tint issue, take it to a Sony repair center, Sony will replace the LCD
