I downloaded PC companion for the first time today after 6 months of having the Xperia S phone as it needed a software update and I needed to back up my photos etc... So I followed the steps, it took a few hours to download onto my PC and now it seems my phone is just a blank bit of plastic!
I thought it would give me the option of back up but that was nowhere to be found and now all I get is a triangle with an ! in it next to a pic of a phone.... I've tried everything on PC Companion but it keeps saying that the phone isn't connected, then it is, then it's not!
HELP me please all my pics of my new baby are on there along with medical stuff for my son. What do I do now? 
I only wanted to back it up!
