Xperia S not responding after update 18.Jan.13

Hi,

My Xperia S said there was an update available. Using Sony Bridge for Mac I started downloading the new software which said it was 6.1.A.2.45. After a while it said ERROR instalation was unsuccesfull and contact Support . My phone didn´t switched back on so I unplugged it from the computer and now it only displays the SONY logo and nothing else. Have tried switching it off the only way it allows (Power button+Volume up) and nothing. Don´t know what to do.

I have tried to update mt xperia sl and am facing the same problem too , my phone is not geting started can anyone help us out on wat to be done ..?

I suggest that you take your device to your local Sony's customers care , they will help you for sure.

It seems this is a serious problem. I updated my xperia S using Sony Pc companion this morning. I was directed to disconnect the phne from the pc and remove the battery. I couldn't remove the battery as it is embedded. My phone has refused to come on eversince. What can I do? I am in Nigeria.
