Xperia S - no packet data since upgrade to android 4.04

Hi All

I have just upgraded my Xperia S to android 4.04 and build  6.1.A.2.45  since the upgrade I can NO LONGER get packet data through my provider (Virgin Australia) it was wroking perfectly before the upgrade. I have tried the "repair my phone" option no luck. Data works fine on WiFi

can I go back to the old android O/S?

can someone help with a fix?

Have you checked your APN settings?

Or tried to get them automatically by going into Settings > Xperia > Internet settings?
