Xperia S Jelly Bean Lockscreen help needed!

Hi all i have a question about the xperia s lockscreen post the jellybean update.

I rather liked the ICS option where in default sony themes with their individual live wallpapers could even be displayed on the lockscreen

however in jelly bean i cant change the lockscreen pic.

when i go to Settings > Display > Personalisation > Lock screen

all i get is wallpaper which is good for what i wanna do but all i get is ( Album & Xperia Wallpapers ) i am unable to choose the theme live wallpaper for the lock screen.

Any solutions would be appreciated.

No suggestions yet lolz,

well i think i kinda figured out a walk around by putting a pattern lock which gets me the Xperia s live wallpaper effect on lock screen but now cant just drag the status bar down when screen is locked to access im's n all.

So any one who is still able to answer this please do help!

As standard it's not possible to have a live wallpaper as the lock screen background when you are using the "swipe" lock screen in Jelly Bean. You may find some 3rd party lock screen apps on Google Play which supports live wallpaper as the lock screen background.

if wht is say is true then i have no alternative but to leave it with my walkaround

coz i dont like the idea of loading more apps (3rdParty) to do something that i was able to do in the basic version of ICS

any ways thx for ur answer.

New Topic :-

I was trying to do a battery usage trace by logging usage made post the update to Jelly Bean.

I have noticed there is huge drop in battery level in the 1st 5-10mins where in from 100% goes to around 87%.

When i check phone standard battery usage info its says App : Media usage is the highest even higher than screen usage.

And under media i can see > Download Manager, Media Storage, DRM protected content storage, Downloads.

I have never come across this app using this much battery chg when was in ICS as back in ICS was always around 1%-3% overall usage.

Any answers as usual will be helpfull.
