try repairing your phone software via SEUS
www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/
and perform a master reset (DON'T FORGET TO BACK UP DATA)
I've not heard anyone else having this problem.
Try the repair that braydencooper067 is suggesting.
Anyone reading this can confirm if Skype is working or not? Only answer if you have an Xperia S with ICS, thanks!

Today I couldn't sign in to Skype with my phone. Had this problem around 1pm (CET+2) for a few hours. The Skype login page was in an endless loop of 'signing in', but nothing happened.
Now it seems to be working fine again
