Xperia S Connectivity Issue

hai this is arun,

my xperia s has a problem with connecting to the internet when i stop using it for a while. when i keep the phone locked for sometime and then unlock it, the mobile data gets disconnected and the net wouldn't work until i restart mobile data or restart the phone.no problem with the service provider,i tried changing my sim.

can anyone help me out with this annoying problem?

that's odd, do you have an antivirus? how old is your SIM card? any taskillers? battery defenders?

it is one of the known issues with Sonys version of ICS, many users on many versions of it are having the same problem. The only thing you can do is hope Sony pull their hands out and fix it one day.

I have this issue also, although it is more prominent when I leave home with the wifi switched on, arrive at the office and realise that I'm not getting e-mail notification through.

It's almost like the DNS entries on the phone don't get updated once I leave the wifi network I was connected to.

Only fix that works..... power off and power on (rule no.1 in IT :smileygrin:)
