xperia S call problems

hi i have a really annoying problem thats seriously makes me consider throwing my xperia in  the bin and going with another phone

when iam in a call the sound randomly cuts out ... i cant hear them and iam not sure if they can hear me

everyone i call says they dont have any knowen problems with their phones and its only when they are in a call with me so its obviously a problem from my side that ive never had before with any phone (even had a better experiance with an Iphone ... unbelievable)

also when iam listening to music / pod casts (streaming or stored on the phone) it cuts out and comes back on (if like the phone its self is buffering what it knows) ... sounds like the phone is about to crash

i have connected the phone to my win 7 PC with the phone software fully installed and the phone has all the recent updates so i know iam running it as it should

Have you tried to do a repair of the phone software?

Start PC companion, start "Support Zone", start "Update phone software" and click on "Repair".

Follow the on-screen instructions.

Let me know if you are still having this issue after the repair of the phone software.

If problem still persists I recommend you to contact your local support and they can send your phone to the repair center for investigation:

yeh thanks for tellin me that wen it actually works ... it removes all your contacts and data on the phone
