Hello there,
It has been 2 and a half years since I bought my phone Sony Xperia S. Since then, I was a happy user of this phone until the issues that started around february/march 2014. My phone is a part of my daily routine. I'm a student and my school is preety far away from my house. It takes me +/- 1h to arrive so I usually spend this time on my phone, listening to music, checking FB e.t.c.(From games, I only play, from time to time, Clash of Clans AND only at home) So since february I noticed that the speed of my battery draining increased. Normally the battery was at its 1% when I was already at home after my day. At some point, the battery was already discharged in the mid of my journey back to home. It seemed to me that the battery was draining faster and faster with time, and I was using my phone the exact the same way. Without doing a greater research I decided to purchase a new, bigger Li-on battery for my phone. When I finally received it and replaced it I noticed ABSOLUTELY no difference. Since then I started doing multiple things: Re-installing the phone; installing apps that are supposed to optimize the phone and decrease the battery usage; clearing "trash" like cache e.t.c, and finally formating completely my internal memory (Sony Xperia S doesn't have MicroSD slot) and restoring my phone to default settings. Also, I didn't restore the backup I did before formatting the phone, thinking that the issue might be in my files. AND AGAIN, after putting back my phone to the factory settings, with clear internal storage and only few default apps that came with the phone, the situation is exactly the same.
So to sum up, now, my phone is just like it came out of the factory; with a new, greater Li-on battery; and it lasts 2-3H!!!
Also, my phone was getting really, really hot sometimes and when I was opening my phone to check if it's the battery that is the source of this heat, I realized it wasn't the battery but the CPU that was getting that hot. Moreover, according to the percentage mark on the phone, battery drains normally until 65-70% and after that, it suddenly drops to 1% and its just a matter of time until the phone shuts down. When I was going to school, I even turned off the phone so I save some battery for later, but guess what, when I was turning it back on, the battery was at its previous lvl, but, again, it was just a matter of time until it dropped to 1% and shut down.
So now, my question is, what do I have to do with it? I did all the things possible; recommended on the very same Support Forum and it gave no result. Is it some sort of Virus or maybe the phone is just designed to "throw away" energy after 2 years of usage. PLEASE HELP 'cause the battery lasts less and less.
PS: Excuse my language but English isn't my mother tongue. Feel free to tell me if something is unclear to you.
Thank you in advance
Test your battery with

Thanks Uliwooly for your reply but in the app, the only test that has to do smthg with battery is charging test.

Battery health-good
I don't think the issue is with the battery. To clarify, I got this phone practicly just after it was released and the guarantee is finished
