Xperia ray Wi-Fi problem and video recording on 4.0.4

Hi sony i have bought a xperia ray before 2 months now im updated to 4.0.4

and the problems i get is

1. wifi error

my Galaxy fit is working fine with wifi

But ray is not working fine it connects to modem but no data connecton

i have connected the two devices on the same modem...............

pls watch these videos and pls help to resolve the problem..........(I got this problem only after ICS update (4.0.3 and 4.0.4))

he problem is with Android 3.2 when we use the Dynamic IP assigned by the router. details in the link below -

the resolution. set up a static IP on your android phone. how to do that...

first you would need the IP, Subnetmask and default gateway. If you have a PC that is connected to the same router. you could get that by following the steps mentioned in the following link

Once you have these details -

1.) go to settings>wireless options>wifi settings

2.) now click on the menu button

3.) go to "Advance options"

4.) cick on set up Static IP address

NOTE: the steps below here are per wifi specific (you would have got these details from your Pc by following the above link)

5.) enter IP as 192.168.1.10

6.) enter subset mask : 255.255.255.0

7.) default gateway :192.168.1.1

hopt it will solve your problem..

I have ray 4.0.4 on ICS other.

Tried every thing in that post

Setting static ip just makes the mobile to connect faster to the router

but no change on loading............

If you've tried all those tips (including trying to connect to a different network) and it still does not work, I suggest you first of all perform a factory data reset. Do this at Settings > Backup & reset > Factory Data Reset.

Make sure to backup all data in the phone memory before you do this as this will be wiped.

I have just disabled UPNP and Gaming Mode on my Dlink router (Advanced Networking settings) and now it's working fine.

Did a factory reset and SD erase before changing the router settings.

My security is WPA and TKIP
