Xperia Ray Rear Camera Force Close

Hi I bought an Xperia Ray, which had some evidence of water damage. Everything works fine except the rear 8M camera.

Everytime I open an application that uses the rear camera I get a force close and application ends.

Everything to do with the front camera works fine.

Any ideas please?

Veresova's answer is likely the correct one in these types of cases. However if you are just getting a force close on the camera then I would advise that you try this as well:

Main menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All > Camera > Clear data.

If this also fails to resolve the issue then you may want to try a firmware update as a Force Close error is unlikely to be due to the hardware damage.
