While in a call, my phone heats up really quickly,

Sometimes it also happens while playing games, (just with some games)

Any idea why this is happening?

And how can I fix it?

Hi, there is definitely some heat generated when phone is in use.

However, if phone heats up when idling (other than charging), then you should start to worry.

hi,

I know its normal for cellphones to heat up during the process, especially the slim ones like ray, arc..

But I wary of this since it has been just two days wondering it could make it worst as use this.

there is bit of heating at the back.

Hope it won't be serious loop hole within the product, as i really enjoy the phone and its slim design..

Hi, suggest rebooting phone often (maybe once a day) and see if it improves.

Not sure if you have one, if you don't, get a suitable app from Android Market to monitor the battery temperature. Search for keyword 'battery temperature'.

in terms of thickness of the phone, my x8 ( a blulky phone) also heats up when playing games and during calls.. sometimes when charging and im using it for messaging.. in connection with that, i guess its normal for smartphones to generate heat when performing multitasking and playing games, especially it is noticeable when your phone is slim like the ray..
