Xperia ray - Camera with bad focus

Hi,

I think that the focus of xperia ray is poor, in auto mode it is slow to detect the different focus needs and it doesn't focus properly, it seems to be near of well focused but it is never perfect! Photos never appear with the best focus! And this focus failure is detectable on the phone screen, if looking with attention it is noticeable that focus is not perfect!

In video mode it works very well!

Friends of mine always say great things about the videos I record with these phone, but images are always poor (and I´m sure the cause is of a focus not well done by the phone!)

How can it be good in videos and not in photos?

Is there any update or app I may use to correct it?

P.s. once I had a LG (worst phone I've ever had), the camera was ok but after rooting the phone it became perfect! I don't understand how original software doesn't bring the best of the phone!

If it is than there is another problem, I don't know how to install and make it work... I think I would need a step by step guidance... can you provide one, or a link if there is one?

My phone ain't rooted (because of warranty).

"new version cyber-shot v.7.1.2", is this the version I shoul download or "new version cyber-shot v.2.B.12"?
