xperia ray blank screen issue - pls help

Xperia Ray screen goes off (means blank display), immediately after making a call or just after attend the call and never comes back after the call is ended and never comes back. Sometimes it happens while the screen timeout is over..  Iam using updated ICS software 4.0, i have to pull the battery out restart the phone to bring the phone back to work or wait 10 minute to fix automatically. Is this a common problem? I tried to repair the software, reinstalled but no solution, i think it is a hardware related issue..phone warrenty is alrdy over..pls give some solution or reason for this problem..

It is a hardware problem (90%). Visit the service center.
