Hey all, I had just kept my Xperia Pro in my pocket. Suddenly, after sometime I just took my cell out of pocket & noticed that it had heated up a lot suddenly & it was switched off. I was not able to switch it on. So, I'd to forcibly remove my phone's battery to restart it. This thing has happen twice & my cell is just a month old
Without using the cell, whats the reason for it getting heated up?
it would be good to get it checked at service center
however try a software repair yourself
and see how it goes
Update/Repair your phone via PCC OR SUS
PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).
Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)
PC Companion http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/pc-companion/
SUS ( Sony Update Service) ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe
or
http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/
both the links are same
I recently repaired my cell usin PCC. Just one week back. This happen after two days after repair.
this means repair it again
ONE QUESTION - why did you repaired it one week ago and was this problem there before reparing as we ll ?
and don't install any 3rd party apps for 2-3 days , but observe the behaviour of your mobile
I have not installed any third party apps now though; And this heating & switching off itself had happen before also - this was 2nd time this happen..
buddy now its better to get it checked at service center
tell them you have repaired your mobile already but didn't help
they might replace your phone or repair it for free ( as your mobile is one month old )
hurry in this case
Thanks for your suggestions

Thank you Xpeeria-Pro-User
I will take my cell to service center now. Can you please suggest me what all things I should take with me, so that I can avoid the stuff happened to you in the service center?
Well, it depends of the issue by itself. I would suggest that you leave them your phone, battery, memory card and warranty. Everything else is excluded from the guarantee anyway.
Wish you all the best in solving your problem.
