Xperia pro camera problem

i have an xperia pro and when i start my camera it freeze and display an error massege; "Sorry, activity camera(in application camera) is not responding" then force close and Wait as options. please help. I tried factory reset, and fomat  memory card

Try to repair the phone software via PC Companion to see if that could fix the problem.

I have tried that but on the process of backuping information, just before "update" it shows an error massege thatt says, "could not install softwares from the phone or could not connect to device". So it does not finish the repair process.
