Xperia Play SD card corruption?

I booted my xperia earlier to find that none of my apps were working, so i linked my SD card to my computer and found that this had happened, is there anyway to fix this issue?

you can reformat the SD card, but it will delete everything stored there

What Uliwooly has said is correct, to rectify this issue you are going to need to perform a reformat of the SD card.
