xperia p update bug

Hi everybody!

I have a notification on my xperia to remember me update the phone to 6.1.1.B.0.5.0, but the phone is running the 6.1.1.B.1.54, as I can see in settings>about the phone.

I can´t delete the notification, and I can´t update, when I tryed, pc companion always shows the same message:

pc companion can´t find update for your device...

Could anybody help me?

If PC Companion isn't able to update your phone please try using Update Service instead.

So I can´t understand why should I install an older version than the one I have running... The link you posted me, is writed in a lenguage I can´t translate, so it looks like pc companion.

I've got the same problem, currently installed software version is 6.1.1.B.1.54, but the phone popped up a notification to upgrade to 6.1.B.0.550, which is or should be and older version.

Anyway I performed the upgrade process, but it's no wonder that when it finishes downloading the new software PC Companion says that there's no new version for my phone. And the notification remains, it can't be deleted as tarsin said.

On the other hand, tarsin, do not click on the link directly, it takes you to PC Companion in Swedish. Try copy&paste on your browser and it'll go to the right place. If your language isn't English you should replace those "gb" (great britain) in the middle of the link by those of your country, in my case I put "es" for Spain. This said, DO NOT USE IT, I wrote the previous lines before using it, now I can tell you that you lose all contents in your phone and you downgrade your phone to 6.1.B.0.550, the older version, and I can't upgrade to 6.1.1.B.1.54 as it tells me there are no upgrades available for my phone. Absurd but that's what happens, at least the notification vanished, heh. 😕

Any suggestion for me to upgrade again to 6.1.1.B.1.54?

To sum it up, I've got sw ver 6.1.B.0.550 installed on my phone, and both PC Companion and Update Service tell me there are no new sw versions, when 6.1.1.B.1.54 is out there for my country (Spain). Any idea how to install the latest version?

Wait, do you mean that SUS doesn't work or that SUS doesn't find any update for your phone?

(Since I've installed SUS from the link I gave you and It works)

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. SUS is installed and working, I meant that it doesn't find any new version for my phone.
