Xperia P SMS notification light problem

how to set  the notification light(not the light on the transparent bar) to light up when I receive SMS messges?.. I noticed that the blue light only lit up whenever I turn the screen on. Can I set it up so that it will lit even the screen is off, like the red light when it is charging?

I think its actually a bug,the same thing happens with me the notification light does not blinks till the phone screen is turned on.If you restart the phone it will work for for a day but again it goes back to the same problem,tried SUS a lot of times but the prob was not solved.

If u remove extended standby mode it does work

Hope they will fix in next update.

you're right..the notification light only works when extended standby mode is not activated..
