Xperia P ICS NFC defect?

ICS NFC defect?  Hungarian forum, other members of the NFC pictures / music / etc. transmission is not working properly on the device. I'd rather not send the file itself is realized.  This is a manufacturing defect or a Smartphone that you're wrong?  This can be improved?  JB or will improve, or ICS is expected to improve?

Its a bug, though very few have reported successful transmission of files via NFC, most are experiencing issues!

I tested the transfer to a Galaxy SIII, it displays a message "click to download", you have to click and wait for the file transfer start with cellphones near(I even thought it took too long, about 10sec to start the transfer, and it enables Bluetoth does the work)

Yea, same issue i experienced on mine while sending to an S3 and also to an XP. Although on the XP it responded faster, finally it transmitted over bluetooth!

I thought I had the same problem first, but fortunately no. The problem might be if you activate NFC from the widget menu. Try to activate it from the Settings menu - > More -> NFC, and check the box to activate NFC. After that everything worked fine for me. If it doesn't works, you may try a repair from Sony Companion.

Whichever method used to activate NFC, result is the same! Lucky for you your device is ok!
