Xperia P 'device memory' is full so cannot update apps

My 'device memory' is nearly full, but I have shed loads of 'internal memory' available

Why can i not move my apps into the 'internal memory' ?

I cannot currenly update any more apps as my device memory says I have no space available

Whats the point of a phone that cannot handle more than 20 apps ??

the last time this happened, i did a software repair via PC Companion. in my case, the phone showed nearly 220MB free in memory, yet apps wouldnt update. you can try to clear data from chrome, google+ and google search, as in my case, chrome used nearly 275MB in storage.

Thank you, I removed PC Companion as it was incredibly buggy on my computer.

I think I will just bin the phone
